Edible floral ice cubes

Image
Summer is here so, why not dress up your drinks with these beautiful homemade edible  flower ice cubesπŸŒžπŸ’πŸ§Š How to make edible flower ice cubes 1. Fill an ice cube tray half way with water. Freeze. 2. Place one rose petal or any edible flowers of your choice on each cube, then pour one teaspoon of water over each petal. Freeze again. (This step anchors the petals to the cube so they don't float to the top but are actually embedded inside the ice.) 3. Once the water has frozen, fill the tray with water completely and freeze until solid. 4. Use edible flowers that are organically grown or from your own garden (Pesticide free)

Best ever Sangria! Holiday memories 😍

Image
Hello again to everyone! After a very long break from blogging I am now back. All these years I was pretty busy with work and young family growing. My oldest one has already flown the nest and the younger one is about to leave home birds nest. I miss those days and my kids energy. They always brough life and action into my house. But life has to move on. Rather than getting caught up in the gloom of empty nest syndrome, I have decided to come back to homebirds little place. I will be updating some of the pictures and recipes. Here is a glass of Sangria from one of our Spanish holiday. Cheers πŸ₯‚
